Gouri is a Korean polycaprolactone (PCL)-based formulation designed to deliver anti-aging and skin-smoothing effects. PCL is widely used in biomedical applications due to its ability to degrade slowly through hydrolysis of ester bonds, a process that takes approximately two years. It is commonly utilized in implants and absorbable surgical sutures.
Gouri stimulates fibroblasts, promoting increased neo-collagenesis, which results in a lifting effect and improved skin tone and elasticity. Furthermore, the product integrates seamlessly into the extracellular matrix, making it virtually undetectable and providing a natural-looking outcome—both at rest and during facial expressions such as speaking, laughing, or crying.
